Martin's films included Survival at Sea, on a Desert Island, in New Zealand and in the Australian Outback.
The most-repeated film was one which told the story of Jewish refugees who fled persecution in their native Belarus to set up a partisan army in the forests surrounding their home towns.
His own favorite looked at the Psychology of Survival. The key finding - that Survival `is not a big thing, it's a whole series of small things' - can be applied to more or less any area of lie!
